PE-TM001 — Rev 1.0 ENIllustrated overview
A useful fit for

A cook who wants to remove the probe cable and can accommodate the original charging and insertion routine.

The main tradeoff

Bluetooth is not an included internet link, and the manual does not establish a second food measurement or a chamber reading.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can I monitor one piece of meat without a trailing cable?

Yes. The documented PE-TM001 uses one wire-free probe and the nearby Aicooking app. Insert it beyond the marking and keep within the stated heat restrictions.

Can I watch this probe over the internet while I leave home?

The original describes Bluetooth app use and explicitly says it has no cloud server. That does not establish an included internet-monitoring arrangement.

Does the heat-resistant outer part give me a chamber-temperature reading?

Not by itself. Its 300°C heat limit describes exposure of that part; a separately displayed chamber measurement is not established by the manual.

One cable-free food probe, with a phone nearby

The Paris Rhône PE-TM001 is an earlier wire-free food thermometer for a cook who wants to avoid running a probe lead out of the cooker. The documented setup has one probe, a charging dock and the Aicooking phone app. It is most relevant when a nearby phone is a convenient place to watch one piece of food.

This is specifically the PE-TM001 operating edition marked Rev 1.0 EN. The maker’s manual index lists PE-TM002 separately. That is a reason to check the model, not an invitation to transfer the later model’s temperature range, sensors or cleaning permissions into this one.

Charge first, then establish the connection

The original instructions call for charging the food probe for 20 minutes before each use. The dock’s switch position is part of the process: the charging state and the pairing state are different. Follow the actual red charging and green pairing indications before inserting the probe into food.

That preparation is important because a wire-free probe contains electronics and stored power of its own. Removing a cable does not remove charging from the routine. Test the app connection and the target alert before the food is committed to the cooker, particularly if you are using an older unit with a new phone.

Insertion protects the probe as well as finding the food

The original manual requires insertion beyond the marking on the probe. The portion intended to be inside the food needs that protection; the probe must not simply sit by itself in a hot oven. Avoid direct flame, microwave use and the other prohibited conditions in the instructions.

The manual gives the black exposed portion a 300°C, or 572°F, heat limit. This is a surrounding-heat limit for that part, not a statement that the food sensor measures from zero to 572°F. The readable document does not establish the complete food-measurement range, so this review does not borrow one from a different Paris Rhône model.

What the app does and what it does not establish

The documented app lets the user select a target and provides phone sound or vibration behavior. Fahrenheit and Celsius can be selected. That is a temperature-target monitoring routine, rather than a stand-alone timer that merely counts down an assumed cooking time.

The original explicitly describes Bluetooth operation without a cloud server. Bluetooth does not by itself provide remote internet access after the phone leaves the probe’s range. The document also contains an inconsistent distance conversion, so no precise real-world range is promised here. Closed cookers, building materials and phone placement are reasons to test the actual setup, not to rely on an ideal distance as a guarantee.

One probe is not automatically two measurements

The included configuration supports one food probe. A heat-resistant outer section does not by itself prove that a separate chamber temperature is measured and displayed. The original also does not establish rotisserie permission. If chamber monitoring or rotation is the deciding need, choose a model that documents that exact function instead of assuming every wire-free probe provides it.

Use current food-safety guidance for the target and any required rest time. A displayed estimate or an app preset is useful only when the probe is appropriately placed and the setting fits the actual food.

Who should choose this reference?

Consider a clearly identified PE-TM001 if one food, a nearby phone and the original charging routine match your cooking. Confirm app compatibility and inspect the actual unit’s care instructions before relying on an older package. The source does not establish dishwasher permission, so that should not be assumed.

A cabled monitor with an outside display is the more natural alternative if you prefer a local reading and less dependence on a phone. A different wire-free system with explicit chamber sensing or rotisserie support is the better comparison when those are your essentials. Those distinctions matter more than the broad word “wireless” on a retail title.
